  Initially my wife and I attended the early service to meet a couple who belong to a nonprofit. We are new to Tallahassee. In January my wife's coworkers led us back to Canopy Roads where we became members after experiencing God's divine embrace and his love fully operating among the like minded Christ followers there.

  What an amazing church family and home. I found myself looking a long time for a place for my girls and I to settle down. We felt at home in this church and I LOVED the message, LOVED the Children's ministry, and LOVED the people. We will be relocating to a new state and I tell people all the time I wish I could pick up my church and bring it with me! Whatever your church denomination (I am not raised Baptist), this Church has a message that is right in line with the Bible and worth checking out!

  My husband and I joined Canopy Roads Baptist Church a few weeks ago after attending regularly for 5-6 years. I love how involved and plugged in CRBC is in the community. We truly feel at home and welcome from the first time we walked through the doors. Very open and inviting. Pastor Matt and his team are top notch! I love his teaching style and openness. Please join us!

  A friend invited us to "my church" and we took her up on the offer Christmas Eve 2014. What we found at Canopy Roads was a warm, welcoming church home. Pastor Matt remembered our names after our first visit (even though it was a busy service) and so many people greeted us like old friends. The sermons are Bible-based (Pastor Matt always has his Bible in his hands), relevant to our lives today, and he often goes back to the original language to explain terms that might be unclear or unfamiliar. The childcare and youth programs are wonderful and all of our children look forward to attending church.
  
  If you have been a Christian for a long-time but you just haven't found your church home yet, this just might be the place for you.
  
  Or maybe you aren't a Christian yet and you just want to know what this whole "church thing" is about - this is the place to come find out. And if you want to wear jeans, that's okay and you won't be the only one! ;)

  This is a picture of my dear friend at her baptism recently. She and her husband came for Thanksgiving 2013 and joined us for Sunday service at Canopy Roads. Neither my friend nor her husband attended church. I don't believe they had been in a church in many, many years. They loved EVERYTHING about our church! They left for home (North Carolina) Monday after visiting our church and they immediately found a church to attend. Their experience was like ours. The first church they went to was a winner! When my husband and I visited Canopy Roads we started because our family was attending and thought it to be a good place for a first church visit. My husband and I had agreed and had full intentions to be open minded to try several churches before settling. Our first visit to Canopy roads was a winner! Not only was the congregation welcoming and the experience pleasant as could be, we enjoy your sermons! Your sermons are unique, educational and easy to follow and I'm sure it has a lot to do with your persona. Our time at Canopy roads has flown bye in a hurry as we look forward to each Sunday visit with you, our family and church family. As members (joined 1/22/12) we enjoy volunteering in a few of the so many choices of ministries Canopy Roads offers. The Cupboard, clothing ministry, lawn maintenance and occasional other ministries have been a blessing to us to be able to contribute back to God for his countless blessings. My friend adopted her baby grand-daughter soon after that Thanksgiving visit. She and her granddaughter are attending a Baptist church close to her home in North Carolina. They attend church Sunday morning, night and Wednesday nights. They have missed church only due to occasional snow conditions . My friend's new found love and joy prompted her to send emails to her friends and coworkers with scripture and pictures of pleasant biblical thoughts for the day and this soon turned into a prayer list that grew nearly out of control.. :) My friend and her grand-daughter have God first in their lives and she is living and loving life as never before. She was baptized Sunday a week ago and is so full of a love, joy and a Christ-like spirit. I wanted to share with you as her visit to Canopy Roads changed her life. I would like to say I was born and raised Pentecostal. It really doesn't matter what church one goes to... I urge anyone and everyone to find a church family. My husband and I are a testimony. Our lives haven't been the same since attending Canopy Roads. I feel the love of God through our church and want to share it with anyone that's searching or feeling stagnant. Please accept an invitation to a Sunday service of 9:30am or 11:00am. I believe you will be glad you did!
