  A mediocre experience all around for kids: VPK classes are obsessed with testing and spend the whole year working on the same information; play and fun are not an important value; the school is closed often (though you are required to pay full prices for those months); regular fundraisers are held with no transparency for how profits are used; teacher turnover occurs regularly with little to no communication to parents. Our 2 year old had an excellent teacher who worked very hard with the children, but the experience with VPK was incredibly disappointing.
