  Genesis Church is amazing! I'm beyond grateful to have found this church a few years ago! Being around people and a pastor who are so passionate about God's love and the importance of showing His love in our daily lives, has given me the support and inspiration to continually grow in my faith and relationship with God. I also enjoy working with the young children in Genesis Kids, connecting with the families and giving back is so rewarding!

  NON-judgmental , come as you are kind of church that loves to show the love of Jesus by doing for others through various projects in the community. Experience entertaining, easy to follow, bible based messages from Lead Pastor Scott Hunter. Modern praise & worship type songs, two options for service times (9:30am & 11:00am), along with multiple other fellowship and Christ-centered spiritual enrichment opportunities. If you have kids, they have an great kids program, not to mention they are the only church in the area with a specific program designed especially for individuals and children with special needs. This truly is a blessing to anyone with family members with special needs. If you're on the fence about coming back to church or looking for a new church home, give Genesis a try. I fell in love and I felt God's love...and I bet you will too!

  If you looking for a new church that's upbeat, contemporary, has amazing kids program, and a heart for the special needs community than this is the church for you. Pastor Scott Hunter uses real life applications in his teaching and is not afraid to go against the grain or mainstream to teach direct from the Bible. Scott Hunter is an amazing leader, teacher, and follower!

  Such a wonderful place to call home. I have became a member in October of 2017 and have loved it ever since. The first day I attended Genesis Church was when a hurricane knocked out most power in town. I was looking for a church to go to and the one I originally planned on going to was closed. Genesis had no power in its main building, but some how there was power in the small one. The service was so touching and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I felt comfortable there. Pastor Scott and his team do a great job of being available and making sure that everyone who comes into Genesis is talked to by someone. Genesis Church also does a lot of local events, trying to help our community. I appreciate the compassion there is at Genesis.

  I stayed at Genesis because I quickly knew what they believed as a church, felt overwhelmingly welcomed and could see passion in the people there. This church is constantly looking for ways to impact the community and is authentic on loving people as Christ does. This church is also intentional on having modern programs for all ages including kids, teens, young adults and adults. Additionally, they have a huge heart to serve the special needs community and have a dedicated ministry that provides a way for this community to attend church.
